HomeGrid

Energy storage systems provide backup power without a generator by storing energy over time. Our HomeGrid battery systems provide a whole home backup, protecting you from power outages, using stored power to avoid high energy costs, and making solar power storage simpler. Having a HomeGrid battery lets you control your energy, offering independence and increasing your home sustainability. Our products are stackable, letting your energy storage grow as you need so you’re always protected.

What Is ESS?

ESS stands for energy storage system, typically using battery packs as a backup energy system to support the electrical functionality of a grid. At HomeGrid Energy, a Lithion Battery Inc. company, we create these home battery systems that utilize Tier 1 prismatic lithium iron phosphate cells with the ability to power a residential microgrid.
How ESS Works
Energy storage systems like those we produce at HomeGrid capture energy during periods of low need and pump out the stored energy when there is a high demand. ESS can vary in size depending on the needs of the energy grid it serves. These can be used for commercial and residential applications, but our focus at HomeGrid is providing energy storage systems for the home.
Why ESS?
Adding a whole home energy storage system, like something from our HomeGrid Stack’d Series, can make your home more energy efficient, provide energy during a blackout, and give homeowners more energy independence. An ESS can also improve home value and make solar panels even more efficient.

Who Is HomeGrid For?

Commercial Businesses

From gas stations to restaurants and small businesses in general, energy storage is crucial to ensuring you have dependable energy, especially during business hours. Losing customers due to an unpredictable power outage can be avoided with the right energy backup storage system from HomeGrid.

Institutional & Scientific Centers

Centers for data collection, analysis, and observation need to be functioning 24/7 to maintain accuracy and fulfill timeliness requirements. A loss of power or inconsistent power for one of these locations can create inaccuracies in data and inconclusive results, wasting time and effort. Preparing and providing consistent energy with the help of a HomeGrid battery allows you to trust that your needs are being met.

Residential Homes

Preparing your home for a power outage or moving to a more sustainable energy source like solar power is made easier with a HomeGrid energy storage system. Choose the size and capabilities of the unit for your home based on your energy requirements and feel secure in knowing you own the energy that you and your family depend on.

Off-Grid & Grid-Constrained Environments

If you reside or have a business somewhere with limited or inconsistent energy grid abilities, installing an energy storage system can give you power security and independence. From weather caused power outages to off-grid living, a HomeGrid battery gathers energy for use when needed, allowing you to know you will have power despite your circumstances.

Why HomeGrid?

HomeGrid products are made by U.S. battery manufacturers with the sole purpose of improving your home energy storage. By adding a HomeGrid battery, you can breathe easier knowing you have a dependable and expandable energy storage system. We provide an easy installation process, wall mounting our compact batteries or doing a ground setup for the HomeGrid Stack’d Series or HG Cube. With flexible and adaptable power storage solutions, our customers can find the best home energy backup system with HomeGrid.

Calculate Your Energy Needs

Based on a single month of energy usage, our sizing calculator helps you understand your capacity needs and decide what HomeGrid Stack’d model you need. We offer a variety of sizes and power capabilities to choose from based on your usage plan—whole home backup, partial energy offset, or off-grid living. We recommend using your highest energy usage month of the previous year so you are adequately prepared with storage space. Learn more and calculate what you need from a HomeGrid energy storage system on our Sizing Tool page.

Residential Solutions

With the HomeGrid Cube we’ve paired the power of our Stack’d Series battery and Sol-Ark inverters into a single weatherproof and temperature controlled enclosure. Best suited for large residential and small commercial projects, the HG Cube can supply the needs of any site.

Modularity

Our US battery manufacturing plant in Henderson, Nevada crafts each of the HomeGrid storage modules. We have three main module builds, the Stack’d Series, the Compact Series, and the HG Cube. The HomeGrid Stack’d Series is perfect for residential and small commercial uses with a surge capacity of up to 24 kW in 10 seconds. This module is easily expanded by adding another Stack’d unit to increase output and storage capabilities. Our Compact Series provides up to 5.12 kW of continuous power and is ideal for limited space availability. The HG Cube can support Sol-Ark inverters and can be used in multiples on a single site to scale output.
