About Us

Lithion utilizes our proprietary BMS (Battery Management System) to design custom battery solutions for a variety of applications including the marine and military industries. We craft reliable power storage in the form of battery modules, primary and secondary battery cells, and both rechargeable and non-rechargeable battery packs. With manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Canada, we work to ensure our battery power solutions are of the highest caliber for our customers across the globe. Our lithium-ion batteries sustain a longer cycle life and are fitted to each client’s unique power needs.

To do this, we follow best practices and guidelines for renewable energy, including consistent certifications. We utilize a fully automated production line when producing our Valence modules and continue to implement and update sustainable practices throughout our production. What industries do you provide battery solutions for?
 At Engineered Power, we provide high reliability battery options for the oil and gas industry as well as oceanographic, military, medical, and aerospace industries. Our extreme temperature battery solutions are thoroughly tested to ensure safety in these intense environments.
Do you complete your own battery manufacturing or do you outsource it?
We manufacture primary lithium battery solutions in our own 42,000 square feet facility located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
What battery chemistries do you offer for your primary cell?
We offer lithium sulfuryl chloride and lithium thionyl chloride battery chemistries for our cell. 
What cell sizes do you offer for pipeline inspection gauge (PIG) batteries?
Engineered Power offers pipeline inspection gauge batteries in C, D, and DD cell sizes utilizing either Li-Thionyl or Li-Sulfuryl chemistries. Our PIG D and PIG DD cells come in either chemistries but the PIG C cell size is only available in the Li-Sulfuryl chemistry.
